Kennewick Nazarene Church cares about one thing more than anything else: your relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe in the life changing freedom promised by God, and want as many people in our neighborhood, our community, and our world to experience it.
We’re a mix of people from all different backgrounds and life experiences. The KNaz family cares about our community and the people that surround us!
We are a part of The Church of the Nazarene, the largest Wesleyan-Holiness denomination in the world! If you don’t know what that means, this is a perfect place to learn a little bit more about what we believe.
in one God—the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
Kennewick Nazarene Church began in 1924 when two people, Ward & Sarah Graves, moved to Kennewick, WA and learned there wasn’t a Nazarene church in the Tri-Cities. The very first tent meeting had a few rough moments - someone even threw an egg at the evangelist! - but that was the beginning of a journey that would lead to 3 additional churches being sponsored across the Tri-Cities: one in Pasco, one in Richland, and a Spanish speaking congregation that currently meets in the fellowship hall on Sundays here in our building.
Now over 100 years later, several church buildings & locations, and hundreds of members and attendees alike, Kennewick Nazarene is still excited about what God is continuing to do in the Tri-Cities!
What does this mean for you? You're always welcome at Kennewick Nazarene Church. We’ve already got a seat saved for you! No matter where you're at in your faith, you'll always be welcome as part of the KNaz family, because we know that it’s all about doing life together.
